I’m a recent graduate of NYU with a degree in International Business and Film Production. I’ve always had a passion for film - specifically the psychological impact and power stories played in teaching international affairs. I am specifically drawn to performance and documentaries, which led me to integrating both my academic fields to formulate a thesis entitled Storytelling as a Tool of Persuasion in Economic Development at the Gallatin School. The Summer Intensive Institute provided the opportunity for me to fully focus on learning the entire process of film in order to establish a solid foundation for a producing career. Although I was born in the US, my family immigrated from Iran during the Revolution - the theme of conflict resolution especially ignited my interest and I hope to apply what I have learned to independently produce a project about the youth of Iran. With a passion for acting and producing I hope to continue a career and tell the good stories that need to be told, so we'll see what happens next!
