ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT - MARIA HERNANDEZ

Taller-de-cine-085 At 16, Maria Victoria Hernandez was the youngest student in the Foundation's very first Summer Intensive Institute (Class of 2006!). This introduction to a new form of artistic expression completely changed her life and opened the door to many exciting new opportunities.

CLICK HERE to catch up with Maria and learn more about her current project, Filarmonia - an engaging and inspiring documentary about children living in the border towns of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

We are extremely proud of our students and look forward to bringing you more updates in the future.

GOOD NEWS FROM HAITI

Vin_HaitianStudentsIn these difficult times, it is wonderful to get some good news.  We have been able to confirm that our four Haitian students from the 2009 Summer Intensive are all safe and well.  Blandish, Sophonie, Foreste and Judin and their families and fellow countrymen will be in our thoughts as we continue our efforts to help Haiti rebuild.

We're also excited that Operation Baby Formula continues to be a success with more cases reaching orphanages in Haiti.  We're making a difference, but need all the help we can get!

We thank you all for your support and positive energy.
